The Best Natural Laxative

A few years ago, after a hernia operation, my father suffered from constipation for more than ten days. The hospital personnel offered him some kind of medicine that they promised would be effective, but the doctors warned him that the medicine was so strong it would probably make my father faint. Desperate for some better solution, my mother went to a local pharmacy where one of the workers gave her this recipe for a 100% natural laxative.


What you will need:

7 oz (or 200 g) of dried figs

7 oz of dried plums

7 oz of raisins

2 oz of senna leaf tea (buy leafs, not tea bags)

NOTE: Eat just one ball!

The recipe is pretty straight forward. Cut figs, plums, raisins and senna leafs into very small pieces. Then mix everything together. After that, use your hands to make small balls from the mixture. This amount should equal to 30 balls (so each ball should be slightly larger than a grape). And that’s it. Eat one ball (you can put the rest in the freezer) and wait for four or five hours. After that, constipation will be gone.

I know, it sounds unbelievable. How can this work? My father thought the same, too, so he ate three balls at once. Let’s just say that he was extremely lucky he was near the bathroom when senna started working.

But keep in mind that you shouldn’t use this recipe too often. Only when it is absolutely necessary. Senna’s possible side effect is lazy bowel movement. If you use senna on a daily basis, you might be unable to have proper bowel movements without this stimulant.
